Food trucks have become so popular it seems even the big guys are jumping into the game. Today, Jack in the Box rolled out their Munchie Mobile. Of course when you talk about fast food, it’s hard to call it “food” so the term, food truck might not apply. That’s why I like them calling it a Munchie Mobile, because that’s more of an appropriate description.
The first truck will be hitting to streets in San Diego this month. Find the Munchie Mobile on Twitter for updates. Jack’s Munchie Mobile won’t be hard to miss with it’s colorful paint job featuring Jack airbrushed with a ripped muscle bound body. Obviously he hasn’t been eating his own food
The 34-foot truck will have a grill, fryer and drink dispenser offering burgers, fries, tacos and beverages. Jack in the Box plans to park the truck near late night hot spots in San Diego, but will also eventually make its way to Los Angeles where it’ll be available for special events. The new food truck takes the idea of a drive thru and turns it inside out.
